WP3 Educational inequalities

Social inequalities are mostly transmitted from one generation to the next through educational attainment.

In WP3 we investigate differences at the local, regional, and national contexts in the drivers of inequality trends and patterns in educational inequalities, by analysing the interplay between gender, socioeconomic status and the structure of the family of origin, the place of birth and residence, the migration status of the parents and children, and the educational opportunities provided by de educational system where the child resides. Further, we investigate how these inequalities have been influenced by the covid-19 pandemic and if the changes are related to digitalization.
