WP6 Labour market exits

The way people arrive to retirement influences trends of social inequality in later life stages.

In WP6 we study the factors shaping early withdrawal and work in later life. We study inequalities in health, well-being and labour market attachment at the end of working careers. We also investigate spillover effects between late career trajectories and physical and mental health/wellbeing. Further, we analyse the impact of the 2008 economic crisis and of the covid-19 pandemic. We stress the differences between local and regional contexts, and between countries.
