Changes occurring in early childhood (might) contribute to later trends of social inequalities.
In WP2 we study the influence of changes in the immediate family structure, the economic or human capital resources, and the wider social and institutional environment on trends of social inequality. We investigate the varying importance of those changes during early childhood across local, regional and national contexts. Further, we analyse how the changes in the institutional setting affect the interplay of the social environment and innate genetic influences during early childhood.
