Liis is an associate professor of sociology at Tallinn University, School of Governance, Law and Society, and at Tallinn University of Technology, School of Business and Governance, Department of Business Administration. Her research interests include housing sociology, housing market, economic sociology, urban sociology, and urban housing (residential culture, housing policy and markets, housing reconstruction and sustainability).
