Changes in one life sphere are likely to impact other life spheres, this spillovers (might) influence trends of social inequality.
In WP7 we analyse spillovers from one life course stage to another and across the life course as a whole. We seek to reveal potential changes in the importance of different sources of inequality over the life course by providing a comprehensive “map” of the factors that contribute to between- and within-country variation in labour market attainment and subjective well-being for different stages of working life. We analyse perceptions of inequality from an intersectional perspective, placing particular emphasis on the contextual determinants of perceptions at the regional level. Overall, we aim for societal impact and a critical and constructive use of science in policymaking, and to provide new insights for identifying and targeting policies influencing the most important drivers of inequalities across the life course.
