WP4 Inequalities in school-to-work transitions

Successful school-to-work transitions (might) attenuate social inequalities.

In WP4 we study the school-to-work transition differences by gender, parental socio-economic and migration status. We examine the varying effect of conditions at labour market entry in the short and long run, between local, regional and national contexts, and the impact of the 2008 economic crisis and of the covid-19 pandemic. Further, we study the consequences of early career trajectories in other life outcomes such as emancipation, family formation, and the impact of the housing market on school-to-work transitions and youth well-being.
