Profile

Andreas is Executive Secretary of Population Europe since 2009. He was Akademischer Geschäftsführer (Chief Research Co-ordinator) at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (2004-2009) and Deputy Director of the Max Planck International Research Network on Aging (2007-2009). He served as coordinator for European projects and networks at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin - Institute for Advanced Study (2001-2004). Before that he worked as a research scientist (with teaching obligations) at the Institutes for History of the Universities of Munich and Regensburg.
